The next generation in counterforce bracing has arrived. The Matt
Strap is the foremost tendonitis brace in many practices. Originally
designed to treat patellar tendonitis. The Matt-Strap is constructed
of universal presssure-sensitive neoprene combined to a unique foamed
silicone buttress and covered with non-slip Spectron.

believes the strap acts as a dampener. As tension is applied
to the tendon during activity, the shock absorbing foamed silicone
buttress effectively diffuses energy and reduces the tensile load
that reaches the tendon insertion point. By diffusing the
energy and reducing vibratory microtearing, irritation to the
tendon insertion point is reduced, allowing the patient to
continue activity, while also decreasing healing time. |
